Alec Doherty - Lonely Punks

We recently had a visiting professional that came into college to give a talk and presentation of his work. The professional was Alec Doherty from Lonely Punks, illustrator and graphic designer. I found myself really relating to his style of illustration and finding it really made me tick. It is the style and boldness that I am looking for within my work. It almost comforted me in a sense to see illustration out there being used and contextualised for various jobs and not just thought of being aesthetically pleasing and almost pointless.
